OK. So I noticed that like me,allot of you guys like 'ol Jason Voorhees. So I decided to make a thread dedicated to him. The rules are,you post anything Friday the 13th...anything. If you have a costume...post it,you got the movies...post it,got figures...post them...like I say, anything and everything. So first off,I am proud to say I have watched all the Friday the 13th movies at least twice now. I own many Friday things, such as this picture will suggest. NOTE: Unfortunately I took this pic before I got my new stuff. So in the picture... I have Friday the 13th part 1,2,3,4,6,7,also the final Friday,Jason X,and Freddy vs Jason in a box set(Since this pic,I have also bought part 5 and 8,so I now have all the movies),and in the middle the remake, front row is my NECA remake Jason figure,as well as my NECA FvsJ hockey mask which I customized,to the left of it is a handmade hockey mask I done myself, but some how it got folded,I will put a better pic of it at the bottom before it got folded, and to the right a cheap plastic hockey mask, far left is a Jason undermask,it is horrible,I don't recommend it,I will be making a clay sculpture, and making a latex mask myself due to the fact this one is horrible, too big,and looks nothing like Jason...but it was cheap...so I got it Far right is my hand aged Machete(Not finished)...yes it is real, but I dulled it down so it wont cut you. Also in the picture is my never opened, still in the box,Mcfalane Jason bloody edition, and Mcfarlane Jason X:Uber Jason figures. They are in mint condition. Since this pic,I also ordered the Revoltech Jason figure. This is a great figure, and well worth the money,it comes with a stand, many weapons and such. Well,I think thats about it. Do I have a costume...yes..will I post a pic...Later...maybe...if you want ;D Thats about it...Please post your Friday pics,or anything. Also,if you want to discuss Jason, please do so,any questions,or info, news,or anything Jason. Any stories about the first time you saw FT13 or the time you met one of the actors...like I said...Anything,as long as it goes along with FT13 or Jason. Happy posting! Also...here is the pic of what my mask looked like before it got bent! Attachments:

The only thing I remember I still have, aside from the movies, Is a limited edition hockey mask replica with Kane Hodders autograph. Nr. 585 of 1000 I believe. Same style as in Jason X, the first half when he isn't all shiny.

Even though I'm a great movie fan and I love movies more than ... many things ... there aren't many movies I concider as awesome. Especially with horror movies, I'm very accurate with them (although my parents believe that I like every movie with blood and violence...-.-). Anyway, Friday the 13th series must be one of the first horror movies, among Stephen King's movies, I liked (if Predator and Alien movies aren't counted.. ) So.. I have only almost all the movies, except 4 and 8 which I haven't found yet, but I guess I'm not that great of a fan that I would start to collect anything. I gotta get all the movies though.

I thought you had mentioned that a while back, please,if you find a pic, please post it,I would love to see it...I am a Kane Hodder nut.He was the best Jason, and I thought he was awesome as Victor Crowley in HATCHET! I am a Horror nut...I collect horror and sci-fi stuff, especially movies, and my folks think I am blood and gut obsessed as well ;D Yeah you need 4,its the last movie where Jason was alive, before he was 'zombie Jason',and 8 if your are a Hodder fan! FT13 is my favorite horror series ever, even though some folks think it is crazy, the first 4 are actually really well written, especially 1 and 3. Here is a better pic of my FvsJ custom NECA mask,it was real dark brown,so I took the topcoat of paint off and yellowed it,now it looks kinda like a part 8 minus the crack at the top! Also, here is a weird pic of me 'dressed' like Jason...well I am in my undermask with my NECA hock wearing a blue jean shirt...not really Jason like, but I am working on a costume...a part 6 or 8 I think maybe! Sorry the pic is blurry,my mom took it far back and the focus was off,and then I cropped it...and well,it made it blurry... Attachments:

I'm more of a Hellraiser fan myself. But Friday the 13th is still a pretty damn good series for the most part. I don't believe I own any memorabilia from it though. Hell, I don't own much of any horror memorabilia yet, working on it. Just never had the time/money, and no one gifts it, several costumes done out though.

I like F13th movies, but my favorite horror series is A Nightmare on Elm Street. Any way back on topic though, I own F13th part 3, 6, Jason Goes to Hell, Jason X, Freddy VS Jason and the remake. I also have recorded parts 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 & 8. So yeah I'm a Jason fan and that's why I don't own part 1. I Also have the prop mask from the remake, I wish they made a slasher video game where you could play as your favorite killer... That would be dope

Yeah...I wish stuff was cheaper,I would have allot more. What I don't put in my gas tank usually goes to my horror collection. What kind of costumes? Any pics? PS,my comic guy is getting a Pinhead bust 'REAL' cheap...thinking of getting it. He said it will be $75,what do you think, good price? Yeah Loc,I like Freddy too,I own all the nightmares on DVD,but I usually watch them for a laugh.....Freddy's so funny ;D Robert Englund and Kane Hodder, the two best in the business! You don't like part 1? Part 1 is the most suspenseful Friday...yes Jason isn't the killer in it,but it was a great movie! Just wish we saw more on Pamela and Jason in the beginning so we saw what happened midway after Jasons 'drowning'! I always thought that she saved Jason after he drowned...meaning he didn't drown...I think he washed up on shore, she found him,and they lived out in the woods in the shack from part 2,though she may not have been there the whole time. Then when he was old enough to take care of himself, she came back to 'take revenge' due to her state of mind, only leading to her own death and therefore fueling Jasons rage and murderous instinct. So he was alive the whole time, thats the only way I can make sense of the gap in part 1 and 2 IMO. That or he washed up,and raised himself making him the crazy killer he was. Not sure, you guys got any ideas? Hey post a pic of that mask bro And I totally agree...they need to make a slasher game,or just a good Friday the 13th would be good. There is one you can download online, though I am not sure where I found it,sorry, but when I downloaded it,my computer went wacky,so I had to remove it.But a good FT13 game by a name brand company for PS3,Xbox,or Computer would be good. So what did you guys think of the remake. I like the kills and all,I mean in todays technology the visuals are better, but far as the story and all,I wasn't greatly impressed. But its kinda like predator,a movie is better than no movie. You guys should see my room(minus the junk piled up ;D),one side I have my Predator stuff, the other my Jason stuff! But I did like the remake Jason himself...just wish Kane would have been able to play the part. Oh how I long for the day that Kane once again is 'the man behind the mask'

I'd have to see it and know what the prices on others of a similar nature would be before I went and got something like that. But speaking of Hellraiser and Comics, there's a series coming out written by Clive, I have the first 2 issues. Love 'em both so far, its going to delve into the psyche of Pinhead more so than the movies have. And I can't wait for more. I did pyramid head 2 years in a row, and then I attempted a home brew cenobite inspired by the Hellbound Heart novel a year or so later. I wasn't pleased with the end result of the cenobite. Everything was done in 2 days time because someone fell through in a buisness deal. I'm debating doing it again this year, but I'd want a full fledged gash to go along for the ride. A little more proud of the Pyramid Head costume. But I'm in no shape to wear it right now. I wasn't then either... Can't seem to get rid of the Pillsbury dough boy look. Despite my hardest efforts. Which becomes an issue when you want to look menacing in bondage gear and shirtless in either case.

Its the actual bust that came out a while back.I have seen some way up there, then some way cheaper than what he wants,so I am hearing mixed comments, some say its a good buy at 75,some say thats a bad buy. That sounds awesome about the comics,I will read up on that as well. Sounds like you had quite the costume man. I hear you on the doughboy.Everyone told me when I was dressed like Jason,I was to dumpy to play him.So I am on a diet and working out now. Hooray for losing 18 pounds Back on topic though, last question I had, anyone else have any ideas on how Jason lived. And what did you guys think of the remake?

Are you referring to his life prior to part 1?
He's an undead for the majority of the films. If he was even "alive" for part 1, and 2.
Standard slasher movie by today's standards. It didn't really build on the story, or mythology. Just another Friday with some blood N' bewbs.
What business?

No,not prior to part 1,he was just a poor deformed child prior to part 1,and he wasn't really in 1 except for the dream sequence. He was supposedly alive in part 2,3,and 4,but he was killed in part 4 by Tommy Jarvis, then he was brought back as a Zombie like Jason in part 6. Yeah I feel like that too about the remake,it was just to bring in new fans.It could have been better. And about Rob and Kane, the horror movie business my friend, they are my two favorite horror actors. Here's a pic of my Jason mask and Wallet and here's my Freddy VS Jason prop glove with metal blades... Man that is awesome, nice mask, and cool wallet, where do you get one...now I want a wallet like that ;D Also, sweet glove and Fred shirt...where in the world did you find a shirt like that,I have never found one the same pattern....lucky Nice job man!

I am not much of a collector of horror memorabilia. But I love horror movies, including Friday the 13th. But It's been such a long time since I have seen the series. I used to have the set from 1-4 but it has been lost. So I have to watch them again to re-jog memory.
I do remember the first time I saw one of the Friday the 13th movies. I only 7 and I was alone in the room it was dark too. I was very much into the movie, then my uncle crept up behind the couch with out me hearing him. Then he scares me half to death, I jump up and slug him right in the nose. I didn't know it was him. ;D Thats what he gets haha. I do plan to start collecting horror memorabilia for my theater room. Friday the 13th stuff will be the first with out a doubt.

Awesome. When Spirit Halloween down here opens back up in a few months I will stop by and see if they got one. I would check suncoast, but unfortunately mine closed And,the only other everyday Halloween/costume store we have around here is closing soon. They are having a blowout sale,I am going by today to check out what they got before they close. Nice gear you got though man!

Yeah the Sun Coast I got my glove at closed too... But you wanna know where to get a real awesome hand made glove at for cheap? www.razorgloves.comThey have real Freddy gloves and for good prices. They have things that the average collector can afford like The "Boiler Room Creation" for $58.95 with the shipping included and this glove is a prop of the glove used in the first movie and is top notch quality. It's also the same price as the one I got, but the difference is that the quality here is waaaaay better, I been wanting to get one for a while now, but just ain't been able to afford it.... Then they got the more expensive kinds which are really cool.. Check it out.. So what's your favorite Jason movie? Mine are part 6 Jason Lives and Jason Goes to Hell (I like Zombie Jason the best)

Thanks for the link,I will check them out. Also, off topic,I picked up a Don post 2006 Halloween Michael Myers mask real cheap. My local costume shop is closing and the mask was $60,but I got it for like $20...a fair deal. The mask needs work to be movie accurate, any ideas on how to make it look movie accurate? So what's your favorite Jason movie? Mine are part 6 Jason Lives and Jason Goes to Hell (I like Zombie Jason the best) Favorite is between part 3 and 6,although as far as favorite actor Jason,it is Kane Hodder,so part 7 through Jason X are good to me due to him playing the part, but the movies themselves were lacking...not his fault. I like all the FT13's though,I don't hate any of them. But over all, part 6. It was more like a MOVIE. Plus I like the Bond opening LOL. That is most likely which costume I will make is a part 6!

I am extremely tempted to toss some money at the Phantom Glove. All chrome... So awesome. The quality also seems to be very good. For anyone else interested I got my own glove from www.nightmaregloves.com/Expensive as all hell, but the quality is unmatched, and 100% hand made. Part 3, and Part 5 for me. Part 3 just seems like the Friday movie since It's where Jason gets his mask. Part 5 because It's different, and It backs off the main story a bit.
