Right having asked all possible relatives for this song. And not willing to sign up for 2 months free trial, along with spam from 7 advertisers, or pay £5 a month, to download songs I've decided to ask here to those who either lived in or happen to really like the 80's. Who wouldn't mind emailing me a song.
I'm looking for the song "Boys of Summer". I most definately DO NOT want "the ataris" version. you can't beat the original and this version is just clarification of that. I'd like the "Don Henley" version. Either reply to this thread or a small pm if you happen to have it would be great. Thanks.

hey thanks for the website. I've managed to download it onto my computer. But the music file format is one i've not seen before, it's only computer compatible saying "play" when viewing the file in a window. So I can play it on any of my music softwares but not transfer it permanently, or change the format to MP3 or MPEG4, so as to be able to put it onto my MP3. Any ideas?

It should just download as MP3. Once you find the track you want and it opens up in a new window, enter the security code if required andf then right click on the link and select "Save As".
It should save as a default format of MP3 in a folder you specify - I use this all the time to get MP3's so let me know if it gives you any more gip.

It's sorted itself out now. The security code box apparently didn't load up last time because it's decided to now appaear. Which is great because apparently 1962 is TOO early. Despite people listening to 80's now. People born in the 70's don't listen to the 60's, or don't have it in a compatible source like cd or tape, atleast no one in my family. So this website is great....and yes, there are REALLY old songs that i like.
