He means that a thread might be started months after it had already been covered by someone in another thread. This happens a lot in the vs threads. It would be a good idea, i'm just happy the big G is locking the old threads to stop resurrections.

Agreed, any people who post such magnificent insights as "Alright, cool, errr ok, i agree," etc should be severely harangued.

edit: sorry to interrupt, you two A reasonable response to a pressing issue, nice one, General I'm in the process of attending to this problem... but being a bit of a 'hoarder' I'm too sentimental to trash some of the earliest threads - sad I know, but that's me. I'm moving the ones that appeal to me/us to the Memorable Threads sections soonest, and deleting useless stuff, so hopefully things will be tidied up before long. Will also implement Mikey's spam reducer script too, if it doesn't conflict with the other scripts. I'll please all of the people all of the time, if it's the last thing I do!
