It has come to my attention that Threads that should /not/ be posted on again, due to their old nature, are being ressurected again and again. The issue was already brought up by one member, and browsing through the forums today I've seen that it is getting to be ridiculous.
It. Will. Stop.
I understand we all make mistakes, but this is ridiculous. If I see more threads ressurected like this, the person who ressurected the thread will be given a warning VIA Pm, and the thread will be deleted.
After Five warnings, you will be Banned for one week, where in after the week the Ban will lift. If it happens after that week again, you are banned permamantly, no warning, no complaint.
That is final.
And also I would like to thank those of you who did ressurect threads, honestly, because now I have to spend my next hour or so doing thread control. Thanks.

Instead of going on a deleting rampage, I just decided to lock them all. I finished the entire General sections, thanks to advanced moderation, and they'll remained locked unless you do the following.
If there is a certain thread you want to post on, that will be post on by others as well, contact me or another Gmod to unlock it. Make sure it isn't just one liner spam.
Theherozero, I noticed that you've been a particular problem when it comes to resurrecting threads, and seeing as I made this after you did all that, you're getting of lucky. However, it won't happen again, will it?

Finally a good solution. I was starting to wonder why all the top threads read 2004 as a date of post and thinking that much of the content was utterly familiar. Well anyways back to the point, Thankys.

You're all quite welcome.
The Off Topic General section is also done now, so there won't be a problem with that either. I'll finish up over the next week, hopefully by Thursday, actually.

Is anything going to be done against one line spamers? (the people who just say that they agree, or ask questions which have already been explained at the begining of the thread)

I suggest we staple barcodes onto all of them. No, wait, that's how we're going to organize everyone when we rule the world. Hmmm.
How do we deal with one line spammers? Warnings and stiff banning system. For this, we will need to make these large wooden rabbits....

For 1 line spammers, u just need to restrict a message of 10 letters. That what almost all the board i have been did but its kind of annoying cause when u can't think of anything to say and u agreed with the thing, u have to type "Agreed (This is to cover up the 10 letter restict)"

I think people just need to realize that it's okay if you don't say "I agree". If I say that I do agree, I usually try my best to explain why I agree and in that way people can get more out my ideas.

makes sense in all aspects. but i fel a lilttle to blame bc i think i resurected a forum a little while back with out realizing i did so but i didn't post the ever so famous i agree post it was actually a legit and reasonalbe post.
Though sometimes i forget about the edit button. except i've only double posted once and it was bc of a computer glich. but if i do doulbe post it forr a gd reason. but i try not to do. so most of the time i will wait until some else posts instead or just go back and edit my orginal post to include what i left out. but i do forget to do it sometimes though

Well, at least we are getting to one of the new people.
I appreciate you admitting it and coming clean, NightBlood. It's good to know that some of the newcomers arn't as bad as I somehow seem to making them out to be.
