Last night when I visited the Hunted something strange occurred and I'm not sure if this has ever happened before. All of the threads, links, and posts were gone, the forum was completely empty like as if someone had deleted everything. The only thing left on the forum were the titles of the sections and the message banner left by Joker a while ago. Everyone had been turned into guests, including staff members...I was unable to log in and I thought it was just me until I talked to Shaggy and he saw the same thing too. For a while I thought the Hunted was completely gone ): all the awesome memorable threads and everything... Thank God it's all back. I really hope it doesn't happen again..just thought I'd mention that.. It also made me think what if something like that happened again but permanately, what would we do? Would everyone just leave or would we try to start over? Even though I don't always log in, I usually check in on this place quite frequently and I'm not ready for this forum to die just yet.

It appears this was caused by a hardware malfunction on Proboards servers. It affected several other forums as well.
The Proboards Staff should have fixed the error now, but If anyone still notices anything out of place, missing, or broken Please inform the Staff here so we can inform Proboards about it.
Proboards keeps backups of all their forums. We might loose some data, but the majority of the forum can always be restored.

That's great to know. That must've been a "traumatic" experience. I too ain't ready to watch it's demise. I'd much rather have it limp it's way through darkness in the hopes of ever reclaiming it's glory. More than discussing Predator lore, what still draws me back to The Hunted is the familiar faces still occasionally popping in, who heavily contributed/contribute to make it all worth while. A forum is only as great as it's members, forget how fancy it looks, or operates. When all those are truly gone, I'll probably follow, and leave it for a new generation. But since I know that ain't gonna happen anytime soon, let's just enjoy ourselves for good old times sake, shall we?

Agreed. That's why I like to visit this forum once in awhile and remember all the good discussions that we had my old friend.
