Yes its another complaint thread, but really there is so much thats just gets to us.
Now I like to think that everyone who comes on this board is a little different, not just from each other, but also from the world on the other side of that door from the room you're sitting in where you're now reading this.
yer I saw you, you just glanced over it.
But fashion, fashion is a word I hate.
Definitavely, its meant to be a prevailing style or custom. Fashion is supposed to be able to make a statement and define an individual. Yet, when everyone wears "fashionable" clothing. Does everyone not see mirrors of one another, or from my own perspective a hall way of mirrors.
I think the word fashion is placed wrongly, in a sense contradictory to itself. Yes it might prevail in design, or it might make someone individual. But in many senses is un able to accomplish both at anyone time. If you're wearing something completely individual or the minority then you're not a prevailing design. But if you were the prevailing design, you are no long building up a single character of yourself. Instead you blend in with the majority.
But on this note, I think the matter is to remain prevailing. Not in the sense that you pick a bigger better style but simply remain in your own. Therefore becoming your own design and individual, in an alternately different manner to that of the majority. Therefore prevailing in your own individuality.
Would you not agree, or would you say the media acknowledged fashion can make you both as well?
