Hey everybody, I'm going on a trip with my Boy Scout Troop to Chicago and won't be around from Sunday on up to next Sunday. I won't have any access to the internet during that time, the Scoutmasters make sure of it, but I will be returning next Sunday, probably posting on Monday as I assume we'll be arriving back pretty late. So, please read the following text on Sunday:
"See you all next Sunday!"

Right then, we await for your return! Let me know what Chicago was like, I wanted to go there July but couldn't go on account of my Father's leukemia. Hopes for a best trip!

Good news everybody! Because of a typo on the email sent by my Scout master, I was wrong before and the trip did not, in fact, last till Sunday. Instead, I have come back on Friday, and now shall resume posting. As for your question about what Chicago was like, Captain, I didn't really go through the 'Chicago' areas of Chicago, besides a Hot Dog place I went to. (Mostly went to Museums, got to see the Museum of Science and Industry, The Field Museum of Natural History, The Shedd Aquarium, the Adler Planetarium, the Sears Tower, and Navy Pier, try Chicago style Hot Dogs and Pizza, and buy my very own copy of the world-famous "Origin of Species" by Charles Darwin, which I have wanted a copy of for so long that when I saw it I danced like a trained monkey looking for some shiny nickels.) However, from the parts I've seen, and from what I saw on walks, I can tell you a few things; One, there are a lot of people looking to make a quick buck, but also a lot of friendly and helpful people, like most cities, and there's probably more tourists than residents at any given time. Two, if you go to Chicago, you have to go to at least two of the places I mentioned above, and I'd recommend going to Navy Pier. A huge Ferris Wheel, (I believe the largest in the world, but I'm not entirely positive and I don't honestly want to open another tab and get Google up to look, so if you know of a taller Ferris Wheel please feel free to correct me) and the BEST pizza I have ever tasted inside the building just outside the entrance. The name of the place is something along the line of 'Cica's Italian Restaurant', and if you order a plain, deep-dish cheese pizza, ten inches, I can assure you that you WON'T be disappointed. Absolutely fabulous. A final thing I have to say, is if you go to Chicago, find some place outside of city limits, and don't try to drive around in your car. Take a taxi, because the cab driver will know the routes and the city roads are never simple. Or, if you're staying near where you're going, just walk. There's actually some nice country around Chicago, the skyscrapers are beautiful, and you'll probably meet some interesting people. We walked to the Hot Dog place where I got a Chicago style Hot Dog, and we met a woman from somewhere in Britain along the way who'd apparently been staying for a short time in Chicago and actually told us that the most food joints were in the direction we found the place, and it was a GREAT Hot Dog. Other than that, I'd just advise you to pick some things to do each day, go around, enjoy the places in Chicago if you ever go, and have fun. Everyone will like something different.
P.S. If you DO ever happen to take a trip, make sure to go in July, they have whales, dolphins, and penguins on display in the Shedd Aquarium starting then, and I think the troop missed out by not seeing that.
P.S.S. Great to be back, and I look forward to hearing from all of you.
