Should they do this remake or should they let sleeping dogs lie?

Can't say for sure, I'm conflicted. On one hand, remakes have a tendency to be... well, subpar, depending on the director and such. For show of that, we have 1998 GODZILLA, The Incredible Hulk(Varying from different perspectives I should say), and Planet of The Apes. Here's a list for those whose day has been dry of humor. Robocop is a well-renown classic itself, and for that reason, a remake is a little 'risky,' if you will. On the other hand, some movies are great classics but have fallen under the popularity line due to their age. They could always use a remake to redeem their value, my best example being The Day the Earth Stood Still. RoboCop isn't half a century old, but it could always be redone with modern technology, the right director, and a script that hasn't been pulled out of the trash and have a renewed face in film history.
