Removed most of the language filter, save for a choice few words.
While the the filter was really there for a reason, namely to keep said words off of the board, typing 'fhuck' to get around the filter makes having the entire system pointless, so I don't see the point of having it around.
It also make reading things from time to time a hell of a lot less irritating, because really, the replacements were borderline painful.
Fuck, shit, Jesus.
I don't think Jesus was actually in the filter, but still, I'll toss it in with the other offensive words.
Pfft. Christians.
Enjoy yourselves.

Fair play, most people find ways around them as you've already pointed out. Are you back for good or is this a flying visit?

Hahaha, it's good to see you're still breathing General. How's the family eh?
And to briefly remain on topic, I'd agree with removing of the censor, but still keeping swearing to a relative limit. I've noticed that most people here swear only when it is warranted, specifically when ripping apart some idiotic teenager. In most other forums and RPs we limit ourselves, except for Han. Han's like a miniature Drill Instructor, he has the right to scream at people.

HELO THAR /random mod sighting
I hope Joker is okay with it, since he wanted to stress the fact that there's young adults around. But then again he wouldn't of made you his #2 if he didn't trust your judgment.

Fine, thanks. We're actually about to drown ourselves in Resident Evil 5, so I might actually see a few of you online again. Unless your name is Michael and you never log on.
Douche.
As for him minding, well, I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't approve. Removing the word filter wasn't really desireable, and I could've added the replacement words to it - but that'd make me a good person, and I'd rather see the rampant language flying around as compared to seeing letters where they don't belong.
Not to mention, if your kid can't figure out that "fhuck" = "fuck," they're retarded anyway, and you'd be doing the world a favor by drowning it in the sink.
Still putting in my vote for home abortion kits.

I'm still here, I am just slack and don't sign in or post very often at all. But I miss you guys. Good to know that you're still lurking somewhere within the tubes General, I miss you. Why the fuck (not *pauk, thank you) are you never on Messenger anymore? Well I suppose I should say something smart in approval of this language filter so, good decision as usual. Much more mature.

The new no-pausing inventory system doesn't work well for me, if only due to the higher level of enemies on screen than previous instalments. For me it's all about the new CoD map packs this weekend, and the Watchmen game from Marketplace. First decent beat-em-up I've played in ages. [/threadjack over]

I've played the demo for RE5, I like it. Doubt I'll be getting it though. I'm too busy playing the new COD on Xbox Live. if I'm playing something.

Resi 5 is actually a very solid 'action' game really. The sad thing is that (like Resi 4) it really just isn't a Resident Evil game anymore. It's a very nice game and well worth the wait if you were a fan of Resi 4 (Although I can't say it's as good....) but hell, it's a good 8/10 game.

I'm fairly sure we're on the last bit of the game, about to confront Wesker for the final time. I can't imagine him dragging it out any longer than that - but my thoughts on the game, thus far, are really good.
I'll admit, it isn't the typical survival horror the RE series has been known for, I do have some issues with the inventory. They still force you to scrape by with barely enough ammo, a few scraps here and there that don't even make you feel comfortable - which is good.
I like the story, I like the characters, the boss fights are more numerous than previous games, and very fun - in my opinion. Overall, I thought it was a pretty solid buy. As long as you have someone else to play with, the game is really addictive - haven't really tried solo.
Meh. I'm satisfied.
