True, this was an enjoyable film to watch, with some pretty decent Aliens in it. It's not gonna be a remake of the original, rather, a sequel right? Let's hope they come up with new and fresh ideas for this movie to make it at least as mysterious as the first one was.

Indeed, I'm very interested in seeing how they upgraded this film. I'm a big fan of John Carpenter's The Thing. Read the book when I was young and own the DVD. Sweet deals, can't wait.

Okay, so its a squeal then right? Good. Tired of remakes. As well as doing a remake of a remake would just be redundant.
Question though, will it follow after the events of the game (which was rather good too, I'd suggest it to anyone who hasn't played it, biggest downside is the 2k kb it takes up to save on the memory card for ps2), or the movie? As, the game followed after the events of the movie. Or is it the story of the Norwegians? They didn't really make that quite clear, just said about how it uses the same source materials. Which, makes me want to say remake.

I think it's supposed to be a prequel set in the Norweigen camp.
