Yes, the rumors are true. There is a Castlevania movie in the works Here's the link.Hopefully they won't screw this one up, because if they do... I WILL SPAZ. In other related news, they are planning on having Konami's composer do the movie score. Hopefully that went through, because Castlevania is known for its fantastic music.

Well, would you look who happens to be writing it, the same person who directed AVP. Somehow his name even gets to the off-topic section Since I'm such a horror-sci-fi fan, I'm going to keep an eye on this, it looks somewhat promising.

I hope it turns out to be good. The series is great, and I would feel very put out if it turns out to be crap.
I mean, AvP in comparison to Castlevania...well, there's no comparison in my opinion.
I can let it slide that Anderson messed up a bit of the lore sorrounding the Predator, but, he better not fuck up Dracula.

It should be good considering that Crystal Sky Pictures has secured $200 million for its upcoming projects. ( Which also might include a new Tekkan movie )

I spans over many systems. From Nintendo, to Gameboy, to Playstation, to PS2 to Xbox and stuff. So, it really depends on what game you want to play. If you can get an emulator, I suggest you do it. It'll be easier to play that way.

The only version of the game I ever saw, was a downloadable from the Xbox Live marketplace.

The only version of the game I ever saw, was a downloadable from the Xbox Live marketplace. I think you're probably talking about Curse of Darkness or Lament of Innocence. They're both good games.

What the hell, I barely saw this thread. Castlevania is my life. Anyway, I don't think it's a good idea. They can never fully bring out videogame greatness in a movie. It looks like it'll be about Leon from Lament of Innocence seeing as how Mathias is Dracula, or it'll be about Sonia Belmont who was the first to fight Dracula. Either way, they'll fuck it up.
