Ack! I was in the bathroom just a couple of days ago and that's when I noticed a small, teeny tiny itty bitty part of my hair was shining just a little bit more then usual. I leaned in closer to investigate it and saw that it was . . . a white hair! I'm turning 23 this April, and it's official that I'm freakin' turning the curb. Ugh! It doesn't bother me that much, I know I'm gonna be that cool old lady with scars, piercings and tattoos, but it kinda hits you like a truck, the thought that you're not going to be in your prime for a long time now; When you start telling stories to the younger generation that begin with "I remember when . . ." (which is what I'm doing now), and when your boss places those same people under you to show them the ropes (same thing, again), and when those white hairs start showing up.

Ah Blackdawn don't sweat it. I got my first grey hairs around 21 and now i've got loads. Of course being a guy I can shave it all down so it's not as easy to see but, meh 23 isn't old - and theirs always hair colourant.

Same thing happened to me when I went shopping with my sister. She said "Hold still!" and went through my hair like a monkey grooming for ticks. She starts to giggle and lightly pulls the very white hair I have into my view.
When we got home I was the entertainment for the evening...me and my grey hair! I don't know if I still have it, but I do get them now and then, hehe.

You consider yourself old at 23? That's odd.. I generally only think people are old when they pass over into their 70s. Like Corvinus said, if it bothers you just dye your hair and act like it never happened. Ah, the bittersweet joy of lying about your age But wait, what if it's true and I'll be old too when I reach 23. Oh no! I need a time machine stat!! Erhm.. Muffins anyone?

Hehe, grey hair at 23 that aint so bad. Its probably one of those ocasional ones. no need to worry. However, should the case be that your entire hair turns white, look at the bright side. hehe, you won't have to bleach your hair to get a hair colorant to grab on to your hair like in my case. *sighs* I just wish that my hair wasn't so dark.

A white hair = old age? Bah, wear it with pride, Blackie, it's a sign of maturity and knowledge - and a sign that you deserve respect! (Well, that's how I see it, although I've never had a white or grey hair to understand the feeling...) Now, when you start losing your hair and going bald, THAT'S when you worry

Now, when you start losing your hair and going bald, THAT'S when you worry lol It's nice to know that when you start feeling old you can just start thinking about those people older than you and think of how great you got, but then reality kicks in and says you'll be right up there with them in the next decade!
