Yeah they are one of my favorites. I listen to them most of the times compared to The Dead Kennedys, Sex Pistols and AFI.

Yeah they all are good actually. With AFI expect to get their soft side. Thats why I like them they aren't hardcore but they don't mind showing their soft side.

Dragonforce is all right, but if you've heard one song by them, you've heard every song by them.

He says that because all they do is extort double guitar power solos and sing about alternate realities and video game fantasies... I just gets kinda old after the first few songs. But they're still an excellent band, so long as they're in small does.

I could tolerate them in a longer does if they're music had just a little variation if the sound. But it sounds like they recycle riffs and reuse drum lines. And I swear if you play through the fire and flames and operation ground and pound at the same time, you'll hear the same thing at one point or another. For instance, the band Amon Amarth does a simmiler thing, all of their songs are about vikings, but they have a lot more variation in their sound than Dragonforce and are therefor, to me at least extreamly more tolerable in high doeses.

I think they do it cuz they see that some of their fans enjoy the rhythm and the guitar solos. I find it to be unique and different from other bands. In order to get the smae likenesss out of thier previous song they would play the same in their new song. That makes sense?

Yes the two songs do sound similar. Most power metal does after awhile. The more versatile bands are able to have different sounds per album, some per track, but Dragonforce's calling card are VERY high tempo progressions and riffs that ...while simple in nature... seem complex by the speed at which it is played. The only reason I have been able to conclude why they sound worse in concert is because they are intoxicated constantly

It doesn't matter Dragonforce is good. They are life. They have the fastest guitar solos. Therefore Dragonforce rocks.
