This should be intresting...we all know how good bands can be in the studio, but what band do you think put on or puts on the best live show. My vote has to go for Guns N' Roses(never would know what happen when Axl was onstage), Alice Cooper(no explanation needed), The Who(guitar smashing and loudness, perfect combination), Led Zeppelin(I'm not being biased, they were amazing during their career live), and Ozzy and his backing band put on a show that can't be matched THAT I'VE SEEN AND HEARD ABOUT CONCERTS OF.

If you want a good show, Rob Zombie does a GREAT performance. This is not an exact qoute but he pretty much says this, "When you buy an album you can take that home and listen to it and do whatever you want but when you got to a concert there needs to be somthing more than just the music." And he is true to his word. He has monsters stomping around and fames shooting out, he is dressed up like a zombie he has dancing girls.
Usually if he's doing Dragula, the music video is going on in the background on a big screen or somthing. It is truely a spectical, people get their moneys worth at a Zombie concert.

Ive seen lots of my favourite bands live, like: Metallica, Fear Factory, Pantera, Down, Damage Plan, Slipknot, Sepultura, to name a few, but I wish I'd had the chance to see Nirvana live. If I had seen them live I'm sure they'd be my number 1. However I've not seen them live, so out of the bands I have seen I'd have to go for...........Fear Factory!!

Zombie is great live, and Rammstein is fun with all the fire... lots of good one's if you like screen shows, Dream Theater is a good vote. It realy depends on what you like to see onstage.

My older brother and I like these guys tons! My brother is a big Drum Corps fan, and their drummer was one such drummer. So in my brother's universe, that means he's awesome! A drummer with actual rudimentary technique! Who knew?! Lol

STONE SOUR, I saw them and they ROCKED. not only hat, but they're a bad nifluence with kids! If it's not Stone Sour, it's Korn, cause the lead singer wore a kilt and played bagpipes. it's hard to top that..not only that, but they were a great band to see, I've seen many concerts but Korn or Stone Sour....maybe Flyleaf, are great to see in concert

KORN? The Greatest Live Band ever?! Have you been sniffing glue? A mix of pop, emo, goth (no, no metal in there) with a letter in their name flipped round? I mean, seriously, that is the gayest thing somebody could do. Like fucking 3MIN3M Seriously, they're down the bottom with Wheezer, Greenday etc for teens who want to be cool by listening to 'Metal'. And they spell their band name with a K??? What the fuck is up with that? Are they rednecks? Do these guys even have a halfway decent education? Let it be known, I will never buy any franchise to do with this... This 'New Rock' thing going on. It disgusts me. I hope these pop stars die a most horrible and humilating death. Disgusting.

This 'New Rock' thing going on. It disgusts me. I hope these pop stars die a most horrible and humilating death. Disgusting. You shouldn't go off on people because of their musical tastes. Even though i despise the whole new genre of rock, it isn't right to do that. If he doesn't say anything about your opinion, you really shouldn't have to go and put him down like that. It isn't right to push your fav. genre on another person, even if you hate the band, another person might love it. I'm not saying you have to bequiet about it, but next time, just listen to him. Just because their his favorite band doesn't mean they have to be yours, i disagree with some of the people on here, yet there's no reason to flame them about it. He's not forcing Korn on you, so you don't have to force something on him...wow i can't believe i said something that long on a music thread...

From the videos on YouTube, GWAR seems to put on a really good show. Not only their wild, crazy armor, but they cut up celebrities, kill fans, slaves, and even the crowed! You gotta be on your toes at a GWAR concert. There is even the rare occasion that Gorgor would come out. Oderus usually beats him, but if he gets too out of hand, the other help out.
Celebrities killed by GWAR: Paris Hilton George Bush The Pope O.J. Simson Jerry Garcia Osama Bin Ladin AHNOWLD! Al Gore
