From Monday 22nd to Thursday 25th at 8:00 (here) a 4 part series has been on VH1, called Heavy: The story of metal. I must say I learned alot about my "Heritage" and my "People" (As I like to put it) that I did not know. I am re-strengthened in my love for the metal head lifestyle knowing what ansestor metal heads and rockstars went through in times past: The punk phase of the late 60's the disco scare of the 70's, the grunge invasion. Not to mention the 80's L.A glam scene. I am saddened for those who frayed off to that style...And now we metal heads and put up against opposition to the likes of hip hop and pop music. But we will survive as always and I ramble...
So...Did anyone catch any of this great show? It's all part of Metal Month on VH1, which has been a great month and is leading up to the ROCK HONORS on the 31st! Anyone who is a true metal head or like metal or rock and roll will watch it! I can't wait.

Yes I watched it, they did a marathon of it last week I want to say of all 4 episodes followed by the first episode of Supergroup. It was all great, and that's where I said Led Zeppelin is one of the true starters and most bands follow Zeppelin or Sabbath. It was great and enjoyable.

Finally, metal is coming back, after several years of tyranny and oppression by pop and hip hop.....

Now is not the only time we were suppressed, brother (In the actual sense), Do you forget the great punk scare? The Grunge invasion? Or...disco...Where Kiss betrayed us and made a disco album...They will never be forgiven for such an atrosity...
