Meh, sorry I haven't been on in awhile as I was outta town and although I had access to da internet, I just didn't update. Well, I gotta watch PoTC at Canada, at the star theatre, and it was awesome. Personally, Davey Jones really lacked the charisma and life of before. His flair and expressiions are gone, and Although I may be looking not deep enough into this, as Davey Jones just longs for his freedom and was so depressed, but even later! He seemed more cruel and heartlesss than ever. Funniest movie out of all three, and you don't have to know much to get the jokes. Not too much rushing, although I wanted more singapore action. Not too much drama, too! Lemme point out a large spoiler and my fav part of the ENTIRE movie.... OMG DAVEY JONES IS SHOWN AS A HUMAN!!!!!!!111!!!1! ok, so that was my third, first being the fight between jack and Davey and second being the beginning to the end of the singapore scene. meh, what do you people think?

*erherm, post laced with spoilers*
I've seen this movie twice already and I though it was great. The opening scene with all the pirates getting hanged certainly caught my attention right away, especially with the little kid, though I like the song they sang.
I agree with you about Davy Jones, Phantom. I preferred him in the second film. In the third he just seemed to be a lot... darker, for want of a better word. I know he's got the whole betrayed love thing going on, but he just seemed to get a lot moodier in the third film. He's got a lot of guilt and resentment going on in that cephalopod head of his, but his character could have been a tad lighter. It was pretty damn cool how you got to see him as a human. I couldn't stop laughing at Jones in his bucket of water. XD
Will I didn't like so much in this movie. He was just so damn manipulative and selfish. Okay, I undestand that he wants to rescue his father. It's a noble enough cause. But he just caused everyone else so much grief. I liked him more in the fight/wedding scene. To me he seemed more like the old Will there. Plus it was pretty funny.
The whole interaction between Jack and Barbossa gave a great flavor to the movie. It's kind of like a sibling rivalry between those two and it always keeps you laughing. One's always got a trick up his sleeve in order to mess with the other. Too funny.
