This is a Star Wars RPG based around the life of a bounty hunter / mercanary / hired muscle or whatever you like to call it. Choose your profession and lets get this going. Though I guess this, like all the others that have been started, will die off. PROVE ME WRONG.
The story takes place during the old republic about 20 years before the creation of the clone army. It is a time when the jedi do most of the policing and investigation, but the republic still sometimes hires a group of bounty hunters to do investigations or assassinations or all out attacks on anything considered a threat.
Word arises, in the ranks of the bounty hunters and other skilled hireable muscle, that the bounty hunter relations commity is begining to search for bounty hunters that are able bodied enough to handle a series of top secret assassination, assault, interrigation, and (a bounty hunters favorite) search and destroy missions. You, being one of the galaxies top 20 bounty hunter, decide to perhaps sign a contract with the republic to gain a considerable government reward.
On the other end of the spectrum, you also hear word that many medium to high power ganster bosses and "Para-Military" Generals are hiring bounty hunters such as yourself to do to the republic just as it plans to do to them. Their pay is nearly the same (depending on the diplomat you might assassinate or the nature of the mission).
You have the weapons, skill, technology, ships, gadgets, bombs, nerve, and motivation. But who will you work for as a bounty hunter?
Please, post a character sheet. All types of characters are welcome, whether it be bounty hunter or otherwise. The story is merely centered around the bounty hunter point of view.

Name: Akest Mason Gender: Male Height: 5'9 Weight: 280 (with armor) Career: Bounty Hunter Speciality: Jack of all trades (Or a little bit good in everything, certainly not perfect) Armor: Medium Mandalorian assault armor. Weapons: Two (9mm like) pistols with silencer attatchements. One, 9" long, serrated combat knife. One Long ranged scope sniper rifle. One heavy blaster pistol. 12 fragment, smoke, and incendiary grenades. The sky over Taris was its normal surreal tan with the lazy lofting long strung out clouds drifting through the sky with the occasional privateer frigate or corvette entering the atmosphere. Lines of sky cars filled the upper city sky line with the hum and buzz of the engins. Sleeking along with the normal cars was a Firespray model, which had obviously been modified to a persons personal preference. It was longer and less bulbuss as the origonal and instead of the default red or orange color, it was a dark black and blue with definitive white lines around the jet black window and door outline. It moved seemingly quicker than the others, drifting from lane to lane, with purpose and motive. It slowly came to a stop over a landing area, conected closely with another where a large Correalian Corvette sat, with many armed Zabreks, Humans, and Twi'Leks. As the modified Firespray turned around and landed, the door opened but one came out. Having toticed somone had landed on a reserved landing pad, the dock manager stared out the window of the control booth outside watching the Firespray closely. He ruffled through his agenda for today and saw that it had been booked for the entire week by Tela'Namp, A rich Twi'Lek with many trigger happy friends. The dock manager exited his booth into the windy platform, which jolted from a tall building in the middle of the uppper city. He wadled up to the Firespray and stopped at the extended ramp before him. After a moment of silence he knew he had to inform the person that this was resereved and that they would both be killed if he did not move and quick. The dock manager slowly inched up the ramp and poked his head inside the ship. He looked around and sall a rectangular room with boxes, shelves, and the ocasional work station with various tools laid out. At the end of the room was a door, which was open, with the seats of a cockpit inside. Sweatily he moved ever closer to the threashold wondering how the ship could have landed without somone operating it. Somone then snapped their fingers behind him and he quickly jerked around, adjusting his glasses only to stare into the barrel of a silenced pistol. There was a flash and the tall, dark character lowered his weapon at the sight of the dock manager sprawled out in front of him, with his head, half taken off. He quickly glanced around for witness, of which there were none, and picked up the body and stuffed it in one of the many large footlockers and shut it. The man holstered his weapon and quickly moved to the managers former post and searched for the rich Twi'Leks itinerary. After a few minutes of searching through papers and data logs he found it marked "Tela'Naps Schedule". He grined beneath his his helmet and stood from the chair and looked out the window only to see his ship surrounded by the armed men who were standing around the Corvette. "Damnit" Akest enhaled to himself. He glanced around the room trying to collect his thought and formulate a plan of escape and revenge. He was very particular on who could enter his ship. Akest exited the boot and immediatly straffed to the right behind a large stack of boxes. Through one of the cracks he watched them defile his ship by entering it and...searching through his crates. He spied one taking out his sniper rifle. The anger boiled inside him and he stood and raised one of his silencer equiped pistols at the head of one of the pillagers and stood for a moment. When he cought himself he quickly lowered his pistol and ducked back down before anyone of them saw him. He thought to himself "Don't fuck this up, I can't take them all at once....Kill three and fight the other four...I can take four...sure I can..." He continued to reassure himself. In reality me more than likely could have taken all nine but he always short changed himself. He looked further to his right to the edge of the platform and inched closer and closer, occasionaly glancing up through the boxes at the pillagers to renew his hatred for them and to assure himself they did not see him. When he reached the edge he turned and put his back to the endless sky of sky cars and bardges that gently soared passed him. He crouched and grabbed onto the ledge and lowered himself down. Akest the proceeds to slide along the edge of the platform to the appoxament line up of his ship. He peaked over the edge to see them all standing around the entrance, compairing his top of the line equiptment to their second rate toys and saying their weapons were better. The anger swelled inside even harder. Akest quickly hauled himself up, his feet making a soft pat on the steel floor as he landed. Surpisingly, none of the nine saw him, these idiots fooled with the wrong bounty hunter. Seven of the guards left to watch their bosses ship, leaving two for Akest's ship. They continued to examine his weapons, and other various equipment. At this point, Akest began to wonder why he did not install a security system on his Firespray. As he moved to the front of the ship, oppisite of the entrance, he cleared his mind of all thoughts as he always did before he went into dangerous combat. He closed his eyes and lowered his head as he clenched the handle of his knife. He raised his head and moved close behind the first intruder who was standing next to the ramp. Akest grabed around his head, covering the intruders eyes, mouth, and nose, and rested the blade of the knife on his throught. One clean jerk later and the intruder layed in a pool of his own reflective blood. The other inside his Firespray was none the wiser but was in the cockpit, leaning against one of the seats, while looking down the rectangular storage room. He hears somone stomping up the ram and he un-holsters his weapon and levels it but before he can squeez the trigger, Akest has his weapons drawn, leveled, and fired. Two shots fire from his firearm. A kill shot to the chest and a security shot in the stomach. Two were dead...with nine to go. After positioning the bodies in the dock managers control booth to make it seem as thought he shot them and then killed himself, Akest moved to Tela'Namp's ship. It was guarded by the other eight body guards. They would be no problem. Seeing as he has not had a heavy combat situation, and that it day was shifting to night, Akest marched freely accross the bridge with his weapons drawn and held to his side to the landed ship. The two sentries outside the entrey ramp stop from their conversation and raise their weapons as the rise to Akest. He simply raises his arms, ridgedly, to the center masses of their bodies and opens up. The jerk around, firing their weapons in random directions and then hit the ground, dead. Hearing the comotion are three of the other body guards, all carrying uzi like blasters. They raise their weapons to Akest and he flies in the air firing away at them as they return fire. They all hit the ground in under six seconds in a heap of cut up meat and third rate armor. The last guard was the leader. He stood at the entrance to the small corvette with a repeating gattling gun stlye blaster in full heavy compisition combat armor. Without warning they both began to open fire at each other. Akest, once again flew into the air firing his pistols at the bosses arms, attempting to incapacitate him. After three minutes of Akest dodgeing the rapid and dangorus fire of the body guards gattling gun and the guard taking all of Akests hits, Akest scored a critical shot to the guards left arm joint and he dropped the weapon. Akest landed and calmly walked to the drained guard, loading his pistol on the way. When he reached him he put the pistol in his ear and said, " Say the access code to her room, NOW.". He raised a recorder to the guards face and after a moment of him staring into the emotionless reflective eyes of Akest's helmet he spoke, "Five Six Two Four Three Y R". After a few seconds of silence, Akest put the recorder away and put the pistol to the bosses head and fired, leaving a burn mark and a splat of blood behind his head. He marched up the ramp and into the ship. The interior of the ship was, obviously, in the taste of a woman. There were fluffy pillows on couches along the wall, the floors were carpeted, and ranom mirrors hung along the wall. Akest emotionlessly walked to the room of the Twi'Lek and replayed the accsess code. The door opened to her private rooms which consisted of her bedroom, bathroom, and lounge. Somthing unexpected happned though. Akest was tackled from the side into a coffee table by a 20 somthing. He was not hurt but annoyed by the foolish youth who was obviously fighting for the Twi'Lek. With no emotion, Akest kicked the young human off of him and push himself to his feat where the kid stood, with his fists in the air. "Come on!" He said, "You will have to go through ME to get to her!" Akest had no problem with that. He unholstered his weapon and fired the kill and security shot and watched the youth fall backwards, twitch for a few seconds, and die. He raised his eyes and head to a door, that was nearly shut but not quite. The sound of a shower could be heard along with some poppular hit song at that time. He moved camly along to the door, slowly pushed it open and entered. He stood for a moment, silently watching the Twi'Lek shower. His eyes drifted over her smooth, femenate curves and he thought of forfiting the bounty just to be with her. But he knew it was lust, not love and he ripped the shower curtain aside, leveled his gun at the terrified Twi'Lek and "Completed his contract".
