Resident Evil: Role-playing Game
I got this idea from the video games and movies. This is a RPG based on the Resident Evil Movies and Video games. I made it up and you can play it at home while on the computer, and, you don't have to buy and supplies. All it requires is that you have some six sided dice at home and a piece of paper to record your enemies damage. You can only play if you don't post any messages on this thread. It is for reading only. So, lets begin.
Instructions: This RPG is very similar to other RPGs around the globe. You can make some adaptations to the rules because they are not very complete. The game follows a basic storyline. You have been living in Racoon City for a few weeks when you awake in the middle of the night to hear sirens blaring from the outside. There are several people in quaranteen outfits trying to get people out of the city. You wonder what is going on. You look out your window to see a creature with a long tongue crawl up to the guy in the quaranteen outfit and bites him. He then mauls him and sends the people running away. You see this TV is on and channel 1,216 tells you that Racoon City has been infected by someone or something at the Umbrella Corporation. You then hear a giant bang. You look outside the other window of your apartment to see a giant door has been closed, stopping eveyone from entering or exiting. You realize there is no hope of getting out Racoon City. What do you do?
Using an item: Thought the game you will be picking up weapons and reloading them. You can only use items if you have them in your possession by picking them up off dead people or having them given to you by another person. There are several types of weapons: knives, 22 calibur pistols, Colt 45s, Machine guns, Shotguns, and Flamethrowers. The guns must be reloaded after a certain period of time. This is where the pecie of paper comes in. You can use it to record your items and how many bullets are left in each gun. You can write down the name of each gun you have and next to it write how bullets you have left. Each gun only has a certain number of bullets in the magazine, so remember to record the amount of ammo you have. You cannot use different ammo for the same gun. Also, under each part of the story you have the choice to reload you gun. Only do this if you have shot at least one bullet from the gun. Also, you must select which gun you want to reload if you have more than one. The number of bullets per magazine for each gun are:
Knife-1.-1.
22 caliber-5.-5.
Colt 45-10.-10.
Machine gun-400.-20.
Shot guns-2.-2.
Flamethrowers-1.-1.
The number on the right side shows how many times that weapon can be used before you must reload. The number on the far right shows how many bullets can be fired from that gun per choice. For example, if you decide to shoot at a Leacher and want to shoot all five bullets from the 22 caliber, you would roll five six sided dice. After that choice, you read the next choice that choice corresponds to and reload if you get the chance.
Killing or hitting an opponent: The rule about guns and weapons has been explained to you. Now here are the rules for actually hitting your opponent. There are several types of enemies in this game. They are listed below:
Canines-3-1,2,3.
Zombies-5-1,2,3,4.
Leachers-6-1,2.
Humans-1-1,2,3,4,5,6.
Nemesis-30-1.
The name on the left is the name of the character. The number on the right represents the amount of successful hits it takes to take down the enemy. The number on the far right means the numbers you must roll on the dice to successfully hit your opponent. For example, if you are going to attack the canine, you must roll a 1,2, or 3 to hit them. And because the first number is 3, you must roll at least 1,2, or 3 on three different dice. For example, you are going to kill a zombie, you roll 5, six sided dice because you used the 22 calibur and all of the bullets in it, and rolled a 1,2,3,4,5. Because 1,2,3, and 4 are on the list of numbers that will damage the zombie, you do 4 damage. But since a zombie requires 5 hits of damage, it still needs 1 more hit before it can die. This is where the piece of paper comes in.
Also, if you are bitten by an opponent, or are shot, you die. Just keep that in mind. So, without anymore instructions, let the game begin. So make your own senarios and enjoy.
