I have no name for it yet, and i still am trying to come up with more of a story, but this one is actually good!
He lay in his bed thinking about what had happened to her. He just stared at the cushy ceiling contemplating about it, hoping that he would have figured out how she got out of the asylum before the shock therapy. He touched the walls many times; maybe she found a button or something. All he knew is that he saw her disappear. He had been put in the asylum for believing her odd story of her talk with a rat. He could barley get sleep from all of the weird noises being made from the mentally damaged people who had to be killed. He was glad that the next day they would be out of there. Lost sleep was all he got from them…for two weeks. Angus Teel was sixteen years old, and knew what he was doing. He had been looking for Dolce Leep, who was also sixteen. They had been friends since they were babies. After Dolce had supposedly had a talk with a rat dressed in a black cloak mourning over the death of his wife, she was put in the asylum. After a little visit from Angus, he understood it and believed every word of it. He didn’t get very far with this. Instead of getting her out, he got himself in. But one night he saw her walk through a portal for no apparent reason. It did seem more like she was sucked in. His mind had gone insane with ideas, giving him a real reason to be in there. Just the idea of a portal boggled his mind. Nothing supernatural had ever happened to him, or Dolce. They had both lived normal, yet boring lives. It actually took him four hours to remember the rat.
It was the rat.
Maybe it brought it somewhere with him. Now he was really going insane. He refused to believe it. But then he remembered…he saw it. It’s not like it was something he just made up. And besides, she wasn’t in her cell. He had checked fifteen times. He got to the point where he needed sleep, but the eerie howling of the damaged made him nervous.
“Would you shut up!” He said. They quieted down a bit, but then they just continued to make annoying noises. He pressed the little button that called for help. It was only there for the people who only had small things, like thinking something was real, or Bipolar. A doctor came down from the hall.
“What this time?” The doctor said
“These guys are really ticking me off” Said Angus
“No problem”
The doctor put one of the keys in a little box in the wall, and pressed a button. All of the windows on the doors totally shut.
“Thanks”
The doctor walked away.
I had better get some sleep.
He set an alarm to go off at four thirty so that he might have time to figure it out before the annoying therapy from the horrible shrinks that they call in. He put his head down, and his eyes closed. He fell asleep.
He woke up…thinking again. Although this time, there was a small light on his wall. He touched it, and it didn’t seem to be a hole or anything. Although it did expand.
It’s like the portal! She touched it and it expanded! It was there for weeks.
He was about to touch it again and go through, but he thought he might get some information about how long he had until he could get out. Making it easier to decide how long to stay, if he could come back, if it was a place.
