SPOILERS BELOW So, how 'bout that Mandalorian huh? Pretty good right?
In my opinion; It's the best thing since Firefly and sliced bread. So henceforth i am wipin' my ass with old Firefly DVDs and toast.

It was a pretty nice show. Now we'll just need see how the Book of Boba Fett turns out. It is too early to know at this time.

It was a pretty nice show. Now we'll just need see how the Book of Boba Fett turns out. It is too early to know at this time. Yeah, I’m following it, and it’s not at all what I expected, or anything like Mando. If the first two episodes had premiered as 2 parter, it’d probably feel more connected and fleshed out by now. It’s real good though, full of the good stuff that made up the Mandalorian, and I absolutely love anytime Temuera Morrison gets to play any Fett. One criticism I really didn’t think I’d have; Robert Rodriguez shouldn’t be directing them so much.

Well, The Book of Boba Fett wrapped a while back. It was... It definitely was somethin'. Started out alright, but god damn. How the hell could they get the Mandalorian so right (minus all the fucking backdoor pilots), and screw up literally everything about Boba Fett. SPOILERS AHEADGoing into it, i figured we'd be gettin' like, The Godfather - Star Wars Edition, or the Sopranos, just in space. Instead this thing was all over the goddamn place, and Boba for the most part, seems like a guest in his own show. The Mandalorian as a character, is already pretty much what fans imagined Boba would be like for the past 40 years, so now that they have to give Boba actual agency and personality, they stumble. Sometimes he's gruff, serious and calculating, and sometimes he's just fucking silly and goofy. I assume we've all seen the "like a bantha?!" meme by now. The pacing is screwy too. For the first half of the season, we get a lil' bit of Boba getting down to business in Mos Eisley. I honestly can't even remember if this thing takes place in Mos Eisley or Mos Espa. Tattooine at least. And then it flips and gives us more of his backstory after Episode 6, to fill in the blanks. Constantly going back and forth means the show takes far too long to actually move forward and get to the damn point. And then of course, halfway through, we get episodes 1 and 2 of the Mandalorian - Season 3. Both of which were awesome, it's more of Mando, and Grogu, Ahsoka and even Luke's there, actually being a Jedi Master! It's great, it's the stuff fans have waited for since 1983. But of course that means 2 whole episodes where Boba's book is completely fuckin' blank, so we missed two chances to flesh out Boba's arc, characters and plot when it was needed most. This is the part where i just sigh and move on. The finale was pretty tits though. Great action and effects, and Boba rides a fucking Rancor through the town. Honestly, that kinda made it all worth it. Not sure they're doing a second season of it. I'd be down for more of it, but would also be totally fine just having Boba show up from time to time in Mandalorian. Jango Fett's still cooler though.
