I shall reply with the same response I gave on my other forum:
"Can you feel...the force tonight."

First, they buy my once beloved Marvel Comics, now this. Can't say I'm surprised really, nothing surprises me anymore anyway. Only thing I know is that, I don't wanna live on this planet anymore...

First, they buy my once beloved Marvel Comics, now this. But, the new Marvel films under Disney are awesome? Well, i for one am a little more hopeful. We could get a Joss Whedon Star Wars film. It's a long shot, but It could happen. At this point, It could go both ways.

My initial response to this news was "NNOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!" purely because I don't want Disney to f*ck with the series I mean don't get me wrong I would love to see more Star Wars films or even tv miniseries appear but at the same time if we examine our previous installments the original trilogy is without a doubt one of the greatest francises ever created (even if you hate it you can't deny the truth) but then we got the prequels which although they have their moments they were not on the same level as the originals but then again it is very rare for a sequel to ever be better than it's original. Following which we got the Clone Wars TV series and film (now whilst I have not watched the film and although I know the plot line I will not judge it untill I have seen it) the series ahh well when it first started out I can't deny I was a little disappointed as it for me took away some of the magic the films had but having said that I do think it began to get better in places as it went on but I kind of didn't want another installment with a different company as I suppose I would have liked to see Lucas redeem himself in the eyes of many fans and at the time of this anouncement when I heard Disney had bought it the first thought I had was, "Those money grabbing b*stards can't keep their hands off anything, first Marvel now Star Wars what the f*ck?" but then I thought about it recent Marvel films included, "Iron Man," "Thor," "Captain America" and of course "The Avengers." Then my thoughts dramatically changed and reading comments on reviews and social networking sites all I could think were, "Star Wars, Joss Whedon, Possibility." There are no words in all the tongues of elves, men and orcs to describe how AWESOME this is

Disney..Star Wars, yeah I can't see it happening. I mean yeah there was a Star Wars ride at Disney World but we'll see, I mean they can't really mess Star Wars up. Or so we pray.

It can't possibly get any worse.
And maybe, they can bring Boba Fett back.
