I figure we got quite a few gamers here, so what game are you on right now. I'm playing Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion again, and was just curious to see what's going on here.

Same here. I already beat it a long time ago I'm Champion of Cyrodill, The Leader of The Knights of the Nine, and God of the Shivering Isle. But I'm not satisfied. So I decided to start a new game. I wish I had the PC version so I could download the Predator Mod for Oblivion. Have you seen it? If not here is some footage of it- www.youtube.com/watch?v=OdgYIm9kXYsAs for other games I'm playing, AVP:Extinction, RE5, Ghost Recon:Island Thunder, and Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds.

I had beat the original game before all the expansion packs came out, and I lost it. So I bought it again a while ago, the Game Of The Year edition, deleted all my old saves, and I'm determined to be the original storyline, get mehrune's razor, go through all of the guilds, and do each of the expansion packs. What I love about Oblivion, is that Bethesda did so much to take a person into that world. Kind of, but nowhere as good (that's still saying A LOT), as J.R.R. Tolkien did with the Lord Of The Rings books.

Yeah, When I got Oblivion way back when it first came out. I was taken aback at how intricate the story was. Also for the first time I was playing a game with such a huge map and story. It was unreal.
I literally couldn't bring myself to play it after having done so for like all of the tutorial. I was just to overwhelmed. I didn't think I could navigate the world let alone complete the missions.
After having done all I have in the game. Getting ALL the quest done, Most of the weapons and conquering every guild. Then to have the DLC to play, which I conquered. I still feel like I haven't even scratched the surface of the game.
Makes me wonder what Elder Scrolls V is gonna be like. I can't even fathom how awesome. To me it seems like It'd take 3 Xbox's Linked off each other for the next one to play.lol.

I was thinking about making a thread for this, but might as well try in here. Who's played Fallout 3? I'm really considering buying it, and would love to hear some input.

It was...mixed, for me. With the recent addition of expansion DLC on the Live marketplace, it's done well enough to make me a bit happier, but the core game itself ends in a rather large dissapointment - I'm not saying don't buy it, I just wouldn't fully reccomend it unless you plan on getting the DLC as well.
I'd tell you why, but it rather gives away the ending to the game.
Anywho, overall, I'd say it was a fairly solid game with lots of fun additions to their fantasy attempt, Oblivion, and a much better game in the long run. I didn't mind Oblivion, but I did think it was a tad bit boring and the character models were absolutely horrible. Fallout doesn't face the character model problem, albeit, they look a little bland, but nothing you can't fix with power armor and the like later in the game.
While some of the game is a bit anticlimatic, particullarly your conversation with a certain robotic antagonist, they did a pretty good job with keeping up the action. It's a little more story driven, even just in side quests, rather than the main story and nothing else but a shit ton of dungeon crawling.
The game play is pretty basic, but the VATS system does make it so even if you suck ass at a shooter, you'll do fine as long as you employ a wee bit of strategy and not just run head first into the fray. Moral choice system is fun, although a little skewed. You can basically only choose between being a modern hero for the everyman, or a murderous monster that chooses to feed on the flesh of the living and the dead, all the while burning down the local orphanages for looking at you wrong. There is no middle ground.
Eh. It's a better, grittier Oblivion. If you thought Oblivion was even half way decent, Fallout should be enjoyable for you.

Thanks for that, sounds good for me. The VATS system seems pretty creative, I guess I'll find out what it's like soon enough.

Resident Evil (Playstation 2) RE4 is the best of the series in my opinion.

Red Rings of Death? Hey, I have friends who own every single one of those Lego games. They argue it's for the kids, but I'm pretty sure it isn't...at least you got the game as a free bonus. They paid for theirs.

Error 74. The best bit was that it broke back in April, so I checked with Microsoft who advised only RROD was covered by the extended warranty. So, I trundled off with the missus's credit card and bought a brand new premium console on the 14th of April 09. Why is the date important you ask? Well, two weeks after I bought me new one, I was informed by a friend that Microsoft had decided to include Error 74 in the extended warranty, providing free replacement or repair for consoles. Wanna guess, kiddywinks, what date they decided to implement this sterling procedure from? That's right, from the 14th of April 09. Not that I was angry much, of course not. Lego Indy was fun, not as much as the two Star Wars games, but infinitely better than the turgid Batman one.
