I've played it for a little while, and I enjoy it. My friend has one, and whilst the graphics on the game pack provided aren't brilliant, there is something to be said for the whole "interaction" of the remote and the fun in playing the sports game. I also played Res 4 and enjoyed it immensley, not just because it's one of the (if not the) greatest Res games ever, but because the aiming system added a new dynamic to the game.
Rather than just pwning everyone with the control system which I'd been used to for the past 4-5 years, it was a breath of fresh air to actually have to physically react when something happened. Sections that I breezed through on the PS2 suddenly became harder than a coffin nail, and I enjoyed the challenge, apart from the two chainsaw wielding ladies in the fighting pit, don't get me started on that bit.
I still want a PS3, just because of the games that are being developed for it, but the Wii still appeals to me as bit of fun, opposed to the serious gaming on the PS3

i would have to agree on that when you said resident evil 4 isn't the best game ever. now i know that this site i've started a few of resident evil board. the two off topic RPG and the RE: the UBCS story on the other. i kno this is a little off topic but what i'm trying to say is that it's not like the resident evil games we all played and thanks to capcom...again they're making re5 and there's no zombies in it just brained washed people.

i seen the trailer for resident evil 5 the graphics were amazing! but, i miss the zombies....(and i'm soooo scared of zombies) why does it have to be brain washed people? it makes the game less scary when dead people aren't chasing you. oh, well. at least Chris is gonna be the main character. but, anywho i think the wii is pretty fun at least it gets you off your butt

i remember playing RE4 on the Wii back on this campin trip. it was alright but my hands are shaky so shooting was a problem. and since they're coming out with umbrella chronicals, it's going to be frist person view.(i'm such a resident evil freak)

Is that when the game moves for you and then you have to shoot the zombies? I think I seen a gameplay preview for it on youtube.

I have played a Wii, and after the first initial excitement it wanes considerably. It is a Gamecube with a remote, and the games are lacking. PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 have all the winners game wise so far.
