I loved nothing better in one than drawing everyone into the tunnels on the suburb levels as Darkside, driving away, u-turning, picking up loads of speed and just ramming the cjit out of them. I must admit i always had a soft spot for the cop car although his special wasn't that good. And rolling bombs - what a weapon!!! Didn't like the JCB in 2 loved using Grim on the Paris level cos he was easy to hide(unless you were playing 2 player co-op and your buddy could just look at your side of the screen) Did you know that you can play both rooftops from one and cyburbia from one both in 2? Yeah, go to that twisted metal alliance website i linked you too there and they have the codes for them in the tips and tricks section for TM2. (NOTE: These levels are only in 2 player mode) WOOHOO! Richocets are the shiznit! Heres a tip for antarctica: Use the portal over to the little island far away from the level, of course, load up on richocets first. While your there, aim at the portal, so any guys that come over shoot them. They fly off the edge, and they come often. When you have 2 guys left stay there and keep doing it. When they'res one guy the sections of the big island will just fall off untill it's really tiny, and he'll be clumsy and just fall off. Tip for shadow in moscow(i hate this level): Ride around untill some idiot is right in your way. Freeze him(Right left up) and the use all of your specials on him. You'll lose almost all of you lives but you'll kill them in the end. Anyone got tips for new york?

New york - i can't remember the level. Is that the end of the first game on the rooftops? My friend used to bitch when i did the richochet trick on antartica - it was always a race to the portal on two player to see who got there first. God this brings back memories - i haven't played a TM game for at least 7 years. Think i might buy World Tour on ps1 and play it on my ps2 for a laugh. Or would u reccomend Black Chesh?

OH yeah, black is teh roxers. Black is basically a dark gothic version of 1 with better graphics, beautifal frame rate to make you cry, and classic cars. Along with the reintroduction of running over pedestrians. For new york: thats the first one, you also fight in it in 2, and it's much harder.

Thanks dude - i've been checking out that TMA webiste you linked - i missed it the first time i read the posts. What a memeory rush - i even forgot about my favourite TM2 character - Shadow. That dude rocked i loved his special cos my freinds never saw it coming until it was about to hit them. And a dark gothic version of TM1 - music to my ears.

Shadow is my fav car too. In TMB you have a mix of healths, the kind from world tour, and some levels have the good old power generator things. Black has some of the best cars you missed from TM1; Shadow, darkside, yellow jacket...not to mention some of the music was done by kevin manthei, who did the music for invader ZIM. Good gothic orchestral stuff. Black in my eyes is most likly the best, but 1 and 2 have some really good competition. I don't think i can decide on those. BTW: If your a fan of 1 and 2, unless something a little diffarent and dorky is something you can handle for this, i wouldn't recommend TM3 or TM4. For all intents and perposes they suck lol.

Yeah when i went to the states back in '99, i bought TM3 cheap cos i had a chipped ps1 that played import titles and us games are cheaper than uk. What a load of crap - didn't like it at all - even ended up throwing it away cos my importer wouldn't buy it from me.

4 is better then 3 if you only play as the boss characters. But yeah i'de have to agree 3 really sucked. I'm gonna trade it in at gamestop for something else. I"m not sure what, i was thinking ether silent hill or tenchu.
EDIT: oooh, rouge trip was made by the guys who did twisted metal 1 and 2, maybe thats a possible.

Silent Hill and Tenchu are both outstanding games - played them both on import before they came out in the UK. Tenchu was the hardest beacause i played the Japanese version so barely any of it was in english but it was still really, really fun. In fact my Metal Gear Solid was the Japanese Silver Special Edition and that was nearly impossible to complete - none of it was in English. Silent Hill is a really scary-in-an-atmospheric-kind-of-way game. It really gives you the creeps. Mutant babies. Thats all i'm gonna say. Mutant babies.

They both look good. And hard.

Tenchu isn't really hard, but you keep finding yourself restarting the level just to try and get 100% stealth kills - it''s really cool. Tenchu2 wasn't bad but the last one wasn't so good. And silent hill was pretty hard - mainly cos it freaked me out

Yeah i remember playing resident evil 2 once and it was annoying because you just scared and that made it harder even though it was easy. But i'm definetly gonna take this stupid exuce for a twisted metal game back oy lols.
