Interested in the following games (which haven't come out yet): Silent Hill: Downpour (8th installment in the franchise) Dark Souls (spiritual sequel of Demons Souls) Metal Gear Rising (in a word BRUTAL) Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception (stunning visuals so far) Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi (yep, still a sucker for DBZ)
I've yet to acquire Fear 3, and probably Infamous 2 (ordered the first but haven't played it yet). Also, have to check out Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, the new upcoming game in the series, set between the second and third games. Haven't made up my mind about Prototype 2, and Bioshock Infinite.

I forgot about that. The first two games were pretty good, and surprisingly the story worked out somewhat nice. Though the DLC for the second one was terrible.
I think everyone who played the first one has high expectations for this one. It looks to be every bit a good as the first one, I just hope It does everything a sequel Is supposed to.
Do you think we get to slice melons like in the E3 demo?
Really?
Also, A few titles are being mentioned that are Not 2011 releases. Please double check the games targeted release dates before putting them in here, so we don't go off topic.

They're still making them, though yeah, they are all pretty much the same now, save a few minor changes (character and gameplay wise) between releases. But oh well, can't help it if you're a hardcore fan. lol I dislike Batman with every bit of my fiber, but not enough to make it cloud my judgment and say that was pure garbage, however, it directly does get in the way of actually buying it. Matter of the fact is that its frustratingly good. I mean, with so many cooler Marvel-DC characters out there, they had to pick this one... (hater rant ) XD That sucks... I'd bet on it! (evil grin)

They better make us do it.
Come on you can't Hate Batman. He's a multi millionaire playboy by day, and a superhero at night who doesn't kill people. No matter how many explosives, and sharp objects he throws at them. They never die. Never....
Also, The Old Republic is now open to Pre Orders. There's a few bonuses attached to Pre Orders, and limited supplies.

My list goes -
HALO: Combat Evolved 10th anniversary edition- I only liked the first halo. I have found memories of me and my cousin playing this game ALL summer long from it's release in November of the previous year too the Summer of 2005. So with this remake I hope too make new memories with an old friend.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3- I Loathe the COD games always have always will however. Sighs. EVERYONE I know on God's great earth that I hang out with plays these games with a rabid fascination I don't fully understand or share. I will buy it knowing I'll be forced to later on down the line anyways.
Elder Scrolls V: SKYRIM - I Loved Morrowind and Adored Oblivion so its only natural for me to buy this game. Not much to say because whatever there was too say has already been said about why this game is going to be epic.
Saints Row: The Third - Saints Row 2 made me love sand box games without zombies again. So it's sequel with it's even more insane world of bizarre comedy will have me paying on opening day for it.
Metal Gear RISING - Own ALL MGS Games been a fan since MGS came out on the PS1 still have my Demo for the PS1 from pizza hutt lol.
Street Fighter x Tekken - I was never a tekken fan but I am a Street Fighter fan so ofcourse I'll be buying this. It'd be pretty funny to see Marshall or Forest Law vs. Fei Long. Bruce Lee vs....Bruce Lee? lol.
That'd pretty much cover it. I'm getting the Gears of War 3 special edition console not because I like the series but for three reasons.
1. 320gb is the most I've seen in a 360's memory hard drive I've seen and I need that memory.
2. It's newer and less likely to self destruct so soon. However I know it's in a 360's nature to commit sepikuu or hara-kiri or whatever. The less chance for this to happen in the long term the less money it'll cost me in the end game.
3. My old 360 plunged a dagger into it's heart and died a few months ago. After only being in service or 2 or 3 years which is more than my original 360's expiration date (i.e. 6 months ) . Still sucked. Of course the official cause of death in both after autopsy is RRoD.

They're also giving the new Star Wars Limited Edition Xbox that much memory. And a shiny golden controller, and a White Kinect.
I always thought that was an urban legend. Both the Xbox's I've owned lasted for about half a decade each.
Thankfully they got rid of those in the 360 S.

I didn't know that. What does it look like? It'd be cool if it had an image of the original poster or something.
Well, I wish it were. Believe me my last 2 360's could show you what that looks like.
I loved the original Xbox, however it shared a similar dysfuntion in that it would sometimes get to a point where new non scratched disc wouldn't/couldn't be read and only the scratched ones would be. I had to trade in my first Xbox because of that. It's replacement has lasted since then and that was WAY back in 04'.
I hope so. I heard that some do suffer from a condition known as RDoD? I don't know if that's true though.

I'm probably not going to be getting many games this year, but the thought alone of buying Elder Scrolls V has given me an erection. I cannot wait for that game. I'm also really excited about Mass Effect 3, but that won't be out until next year, so for the most part, Skyrim is about as far as I'm going in the hype department. I'll probably also be getting the new Gears Of War and Call of Duty games as well though.

Ah, based off the Droids Artoo and 3P0. That's pretty sweet. I might end up getting that instead then. As I wasn't looking forward to getting a Gears themed 360 when I'm not a fan.
I know this is off topic, but I did want to say that I too have a list of games that I am waiting for in the coming year of 2012. That of course is Mass Effect 3, Bioshock: Infinite, Hitman: Abosolution, Nintendo 3DS with Resident Evil: Revelations and Luigi's Mansion 2.

Well what else could they have based it on? It does look pretty cool. I might get the controller for the shinyness.
Exactly, and who isn't a Star Wars fan?

Well there is T3-M4 and HK-47. But those droids aren't very colorful. Not to say an HK-47 controller wouldn't be badass. Just saying the 360 design for those two wouldn't be aesthetically pleasing.
GOLD CONTROLLER BITCHES! Ha, it is shiny REALLY shiny. I like shiny.
You wouldn't believe how many people there is that don't like Star Wars that aren't Star Trek fans.
I have a friend that had never EVER seen one of the Star Wars films until I let him borrow my saga dvd collection.
Then I couldn't stop him from wanting to play battlefront II almost everytime we hung out.

An HK-47 controller, I dunno. It'd probably tell me my aim was off, do all the work for me, and call me "Meatbag" 78 times a day.
I'm gonna ask Microsoft to make It more shiny, and just do the same with the Xbox itself. I want it to be so shiny I'll need welder goggles to sit near it.

Yeah, It'd be funny for abit then I'd have to scrap it. Nobody tells me I can't aim nobody but me!
Haha, Now thats what the 360 should have been like all along.
Soon as you open up the box it'd be like Raiders of the Lost Ark and just melt your face off with its glorious shine.
SHING! sparkle, sparkle.
Hey, Rathborne, I saw that you will be playing SW:OR. I won't be playing it as I haven't got a PC fast enough to with hold its pure awesomeness.
I wanted to ask you what you thought of the system by which some of the multiplayer interactions will work. For example in the Tatooine gameplay video it showed a Darth Maul looking (I'm guessing Sith Lord class? ) Character being joined by another player in one of the missions and toward the end of it there was a moment where the two players had to do this coin flip-esque desicsion thing where who ever wins gets to pick the outcome of the person. In this case the 'Evil' Sith guy killed the person they were supposed to save.
Now it didn't seem to affect the mission afterwards but I can't help but wonder how many mission might be affected by such rash decisions from other players you didn't even want helping you online. Like what if that guy would have branched out the mission for a longer period and you would have gotten an awesome weapon for letting him live and continuing the quest?
just wanted someone else's opinion on that aspect of the gameplay.

Whats your specs? Bioware has stated that if your PC was built within the last 5 years or so It should be able to run TOR, at least on minimum everything.
Regardless of who wins the decisions making, If you made the opposite choice you'd receive light side points, in that particular example. But of course If the guy dies he won't be showing up again. And It does affect the storyline somewhat. But It does Not ruin any particular storyline, It merely changes it. Those little things also add to the value of re-rolling.
I'd imagine you'll speak about that kinda stuff before grouping up to make sure none of you get screwed over.
