He'll probably string himself up as a pinata for the kids.

Rain,? In Canada? Unheard of I say! Hope Mouse is taking good care of you... Yes, he has been good. Even went out to get meh chocolate. (Yes, I'm an addict.) Though the pinata idea isn't a bad one. I miss having one actually, funny enough. I once had a Pinata in Mexico, it was by far, one of the hardest to break. You see, traditionally, Pinatas are made out of clay jars. Obviously, the color paper and all that goes around it to form a shape, but the candy is actually placed IN the clay jar. It took all the strength my lil' eight-year-old body could muster to bust it open. Though, in Mexico, it's also filled with money, along with candy. There's a lil' tidbit of tradition for ya!

Happy Birthday! I do hope you've had a good one. Yes, he has been good. Even went out to get meh chocolate. (Yes, I'm an addict.) Though the pinata idea isn't a bad one. Man I love pinatas. If I'd known before hand, I would have sent ya pinata. though the ones in my region lack the clay pot part though. Hehe, as for tradition... some pinatas also include fresh fruit and nuts in the loot. XD. I remember getting hit on the head by an orange during a posada when I went to my mom's home town when I was a kid. Now that I think of it, I'm getting nostalgic. Anyways, enjoy your birthday.

Whoo...my very own pinata! I go first! I know what you mean about the fruit. My mother told me that sometimes it was also filled with flour as a joke. Fun, no? Thank you very much Frost!
