The first PWNS all. It was an awesome movie, and Terminator 2 isn't far behind it. I liked T3, but it wasn't in league with the first 2 imo.

I have to say the second Terminator movie was the best one.

First. If there is one thing I find inspiring to see, it is a poor mortal human coming up against impossible odds, and thanks to thier ingenuity, thier cunning and thier sheer damn courage, they prevail.

I personally liked the second one. The first one seemed a pit too dumb, for a reason I have yet to think of. The third one was all-around crap. Couldn't follow a damn thing that happened, Sarah Conner dying was shit, her coffin having weapons in it was shit, the whole liquid metal and robot thing that the T-X had was dumb, especially with the fricking laser cannon build into it, and the ending sucked. And there won't be a third one any time soon because Arnold is getting too old and now he's the governer, so when he gets out he won't be able to do any fight scenes worth crap unless he's the Old-man-nator.

Yeah, he's too busy being the Govenator. And if he comes back to Terminator, he'll only be good as the Narrator. *Barely contains laughter from horrible pun*

It's a toss up between the first and the second for me. The second is a better film for action music, etc. But the first is just historical. The third is just plain pathetic. That's all there is to say. And it is actually possible to make a 4th one you know. Make a T movie about the actual war. You won't need to have good old Arnie there because the machines that war don't need to have the tissue over them. Just a plain war movie is fine.

Nothing it's just not as good as the first two, thats all.
Arnold talked too much in T3

T3 simply lacked the feel that the first two had. And there were a bunch of things in the movie that weren't really explained that I like to call ''plotholes.''

Well... I REALLY don't want to bring this up again...
but it kind of puts aside the illusion that he's an emotionless cyborg.
Like I said, it's okay, but it's not as good. Also, John Connor grew up to be a lowlife and I didn't like that part.

Yeah, those are a few issues too. Also, as Tommy mentioned, the Terminator talks too much in that movie. And the whole thing where he's always pulling his cores out and leaving explosions behind him was... More than a little pointless.
Also, on the topic of John Connor, they actually should have used the same actor as the second movie. They'd be the same age, and it'd make more sense. The guy they used just didn't cut it, or make it believable.

Personally I like the 2nd one more. It had smoother special effects than the first one. but that is to be expected after some advancements in technology and a better budget. I don't remember where I heard this, but the first movie was supposedly a low budget film. need to check on that though. well anyways, back on why I prefer the 2nd movie more, the overall reason I liked it better out of all the three is the way that the story was told. that and the acting in that one was pretty damn good. XD

The guy they used just didn't cut it, or make it believable. You mean Edward Furlong? He said he regrets not having done it. Also, when you said the thing about explosions like that, it's really kind of funny. I never thought about it from that way.

Idk the first one has an actual sense of "realism" in that the Terminator acts very mechanical and that it doesn't rely upon much CGI to make a thriller movie. Atmosphere seems very dark and very real especially in the ruins and the chase scenes.

Oh, really? Huh. I never really heard the full story on why they didn't. So I guess that means they did try to get him to do it, huh? Good to see the intention of being funny came through. After all, the whole concept of just watching somebody pulling pieces out of themself and throwing them out of the car window and taking out a huge of land is a funny concept.

wow the first two are real tough choices - 3rd wasn't that bad at all but it's not in their league i put them in the same boat when trying to pick which was better between ALIEN and ALIENS
but i picked T2 reason the T-1000 was just bad ass
