www.sonypictures.com/movies/ghostrider/blog/The Ghost rider is a stunt man (Johnny Blaze) who sold his soul to Mephisto to save his friend Crash Simpson from terminal cancer but of course the devil tricked him and Crash Simpson soon died doing a suicidal stunt because he did not know he was cured so he went out with a bang. Johnny Blaze's soul belongs to Mephisto and instead of being sent immediately to hell he became the Ghost Rider who is a bounty hunter from hell sending demons and anything else that breaks out of hell and into our world back to where they belong. He comes out only at night in the presence of evil. And the old dude is called the caretaker but I also believe he is the Phantom Rider who is the Wild West version of the Ghost Rider.

The movie sounds stupid... I mean, a bounty hunter from hell isn't very original...

So if it is so unoriginal how many bounty hunters from hell have you heard of. I sure can not think of many of the top of my head.

Well, Spawn for one thing. I've seen more than you can name, but Spawn in particular stands out...

Purpose of a HellSpawn:
They are Malebolgia's greatest warriors; those creatures built from murder in the same way he had been made from evil. They are his puppets, his entertainment and toys. He uses them on occasion to torment his weaker rivals. But most importantly of all, he uses them to form the officer corps of his Hell-born army: his officers of the damned. In our time, the Malebolgia has raised one particular officer who's made him more proud than the ten before him. In life, this Hellspawn was known as Lieutenant Colonel Al Simmons, and his soul's torture has been Malebolgia's great pleasure. For unlike the hundreds preceding him, this Hellspawn sold his soul for a pittance: the love of his wife Wanda. In him, level upon level of torment has intricately intertwined to form the perfect destructive force. This Spawn performs evil acts for noble reasons - the truest damnation for any man.

Might I suggest any comic-selling stores. It originated as a comic. I can probably get a lot of information-- the people across the street are Marvel maniacs.

If you have one, I'd say Comic Oasis. That'd be the place to get any comics, to be completely honest.

I'm really looking forward to it, although Stone heart is right, I'd love to see how they portray both Ghost rider and Blackheart.

Blackheart is the guy in the middle. They could have done a little more work on Blackheart though Yeah, I hope they have atleast one scene with Blackheart as his true form. Isn't Blackheart the one that killed mephisto though?
