When the 2nd attack on earth began this tripod ,much taller and with 10 disentegration rays destroyed washington d.c and area 51 by itself in a matter of hours! It's very dufficult to control so the martian leader drives it and has battle meetings from a video feed in the cockpit.
like all of the tripods this one is germ resistant!
