Oh...Damn I was hoping to actually see CK sometime BEFORE May.
Oh well. I won't be getting it, don't have a PS2. I'll play it once my friend Ashley gets done, though.

I preordered it as soon as it came on Walmart.com Which was a LOOONG time ago. I'll be getting somewhere between Wednesday, 04/05/06, and Friday, 04/14/06.
Now its time to wait. Oh god no... More waiting. >.<
I owned Kingdom Hearts. Took a long time, but I owned it. Worst thing is that it wont ever let me save it after I defeat the final boss and finish the game, so everytime I want to rewatch the ending I have to beat him, again. Annoying. Know whats funny? To this day, I STILL cant beat Sephiroth.... Or the extra bosses you get at the end, like the ghost at the Wonderland clock tower, or that damn snake monster in Alliands world... Wow, you actually got the guide? Pheh, waste of money. I get my FAQ and guides from Neoseeker. Tis free!

Oh little tip on Sephiroth: As soon as you hear "descend heartless angel" RUN Hit him before he complete the frase. Just do that and combine with multiple beatings of your choice. Why I got the guide, well not that I need it, its just collection purposes. hehe, that and I just wanted to see the art book. ;D

Ok, a short and quick review: This game really does not live up to the hype its been getting. I've waited since the end of Kingdom Hearts to play this game, and after the long, long wait of getting it, well that kinda crushed my hopes. The graphics look the same, what can I say... The graphics are great, but still you'd think they'd make it look a little better. The best graphics, and the only ones that look upgraded and better, are the ones you get at the end of the game after defeating 'Ansem'. The game has two key problems that made me just not care for it as much as the orginal. Difficulty and Length. This game is just so *pauk*ing easy. The boss battles will probably remind you of the orginal heartless fights you had in the first Kingdom Hearts. With the reaction command all you have to do just repeatedly press Triangle to beat the Bosses. I died four times in this game, once because I had to play as Rika (what a dull 10 seconds that was) and the other times at my attempts to defeat Sephiroth (I'll get on about that later). Now perhaps this game wouldnt have been so pre-kindergarden easy if you set the difficulty to HARD. I was on 'Normal' mode. The new Drive command is pretty wicked, but dont use it to much when fighting bosses, you'll never know when you'll become the Anti-Form. Its like a shadow figure of Sora, no magic, no keyblade. Cant even heal yourself to switch back, you have to wait for the drive guage to end. So until then you're crawling around bitch slapping people with your little hands. Eat that Godly Bosses of Evil. Now over looking the fact that you cant explore and roam freely in this game, and the above statements, the game is still pretty good. It wouldve been better if it was so *pauk*ing short. Its a two-day game. Play for two days and you'll beat it, no problem. The story couldve went on much longer, infact the ending will leave you thinking "What about Maleificent? Does she take over the castle or what?" Thats right, that with is back. But you dont ever fight here, so dont get excited. Another bad thing about this game, with probably just makes it seem to go by even quicker, is that its 80% all cut scenes. Little action. You get a cutscene, told to open a box or go to the next room, you get another cutscene. This repeats through the whole game. Now I know a lot of people who wouldve gave up on this game after the FOUR HOUR tutorial you're forced to go through in the beginning, but if you can survive through that, you might find a slightly enjoyable game in there somewhere. But allow me to give you an idea of just how easy this game is. There is a part where you, alone, have to fight off 1000 heartless, at once, while stuck in a small canyon. Dont *c'jit* yourself, this is the easiest battle in the game.Well, I dont know, Hercules and Hades were pretty easy too. But still. Remember the movie Matrix Reloaded? Where Neo kicked all those Agents at once without getting cut? If you liked that *c'jit*ty movie, prepare to relive that movie experiance! Thats how this battle goes, by just pressing the Triangle button repeatedly you will kill all those heartless, making yourself look like the spikey-haired, small teenage version of Neo. You all the One! Too bad theres no one challenging to actually use your godly powers against. Wait? Whats this?! You can fight Sephiorth?! Finaly, perhaps we have a battle worthy of a Kingdom Hearts game. Now if you thought Sephiroth in the first KH was hard, prepare to have him looking like a little white rabbit compared. Even with this games more-then-easy difficulty, Sephiorth has never been stronger. You can block his powerful Dash And Slash strikes with triangle, but that doesnt mean anything, because while you get a few hits on him, he will teleport behind you and take your health down by half. Dont even bother using potions or Cure magic. You wont live long enough to do so. Trust me on this. If you last longer then 10 seconds against Sephiroth, this godly man with 15 Health Bars, then you're a uber gamer. And yes, I said 15. I think the max. amount of bars Ive seen for Bosses is... eight. So yeah, thank the heavens Sephiroth isnt a Heartless (or a) Nobody. Oh, and remember Riku? Yeah, bad ass kid huh? Remember that awesome suit he wore when he was evil? The dark purple/black one with the heart on the chest? Yeah, he traded that in for colorful queer life jacket and baggy pants. Yay, a way to make the game look more homo. Now Sora has been away for one year, yet somehow I guess has a Nobody (Roxas) whos been living a long life far more then one year. With joyfull memories with his a-little-too-friendly pal Axel and his reoccuring moments of eating Ice Cream with his friends at Twilight Town. Since I loved Kingdom Hearts, I still enjoyed the game. Im disapointed in it, but I did enjoy it. But dont waste your money on this yet, wait until it lowers in price and is actually worth it. And if you havent already, get Kingdom Hearts. Its only 20 bucks, and its a very kick-ass game. Long too. Infact, I think Im gonna start playing it over again, to take my mind off how terrible the sequel is. Thanks a lot for crushing my hopes and dreams, Disney.

I dissagree with you Kronen, I played this game for about 2 hours every day, and it still tooke me a good 2 weeks to beat it. And I enjoyed the worlds like Port Royal and stuff, partly cause I love Pirates of the Carribean. The reaction commands were a good addition, and they helped with the bosses, but remember Xaldin from Beast's Castle? Didn't help me then. Didn't really help when fighting lots of other bosses either. It did make the normal enemies much easier though, specially in the 1000 heartless fight. Oh, and, I BEAT SEPHIROTH! What now, brown cow. Sorry bout that, I can't help but gloat . And I'm pretty sure that people's Nobodys are born at the same age the actual person was when they get turned into a heartless. So I think Roxas is the same exact age as Sora, because he would have been born when Sora turned into a heartless in the first game. I thougt the drive was also kick arse. Question for you though, which was better, this game's theme song, or the first's one?

"dance, water, dance" sorry couldn't help it. its just so funny to grab the nobodies there and swing them around to hit the others. On the issue of Roxas, well, I agree on that too. As for the songs, well, that one is a hard decision. I like the lyrics for "Simple and Clean" but I also like the ambience of "Sanctuary". I guess I'll say that its a tie. now I got a question, which versions do you like better, the songs I mean, the English versions(Simple and Clean & Sanctuary) or the Japanese versions(Hikari & Passion)?

I got the english, but I went online and heard the Japanese versions, and I think when Utada changed the lyrics to English it just didn't go as smoothly

Same here. Love the Japanese versions more than the English ones. even though it takes me like for ever to actually understand what they are saying but yeah. definitly better flow and more poetic in a sense.

Are you playing on proud or standard mode? Its lots harder on standard....you have to beat every world, and fill the whole freaking journal. Took me like...forever

Standard. hehe, I actually for once will be patient enough to look for every thing on the journal. Though sometimes I feel like just heading it strait on proud.
