No one is allowed to have real swords, or knives on the street. Not even for fun. It kinda sucks from time to time. It can give you a lot of attention when you have real swords at parties, and alike. It's nice to see little kids faces when they see all those cool things.

hehe, its seems like pyramid head has its popularity this year. there was a group of people at the festival that I attended that were all dressed for silent hill, resident evil, and a bunch of other theme. hehe, as you can see in this pictureNo one is allowed to have real swords, or knives on the street. Not even for fun. It kinda sucks from time to time. It can give you a lot of attention when you have real swords at parties, and alike. It's nice to see little kids faces when they see all those cool things. My mates do have an annoying habit of "borrowing" my swords, and knifes to scare the hell out of people. I gotta hand it to ya on that one. it sure is fun to see the reaction in the faces of little kids.

I'm not one to do this normaly... but mine's definitly better than that. Although Kudo's to the guy, it looks like he went blind for the day. Wrong color though... it was black in the movie and rust red in the game...
My sword was a big peice of wood [5 foot peice of timber] with card board on it. worked pretty well, but I broke it halloween night.

I'll never forget that year. Call me a bloody nerd, but I loved it too. So many fond memories, especially the competitions. There is a picture of me playing in my yearbook. If I ever get a chance, I'll get a picture of it up so that you can see it. It's in black and white. Okay, I figured I may as well put it up. Here's me when I was...17 years old: I played the Snare Drum (I'm obviously the one nearest the camera)

I always wanted to be part of the marching drumline, but my director wouldn't allow it... I did not have the experience to do so. marching that is. do you remember what music you were playing in that picture?

It was my senior year, so, yeah, I believe we played the theme song from Shaft that year. My brother was the drumline instructor and he wrote the percussion parts.

Family tends to be tougher on you in those circumstances. LOL, at least, that's the way it works in my family. The theory is that if he's mean and difficult with me, people will know he's not playing favorites. I had it harder than anyone in the 'line. I heard it there, and then on the way home, and then at home before we had dinner. It was tough, but I would not trade those years for anythin'.
