Note from E-Churchill: I believe this is an interesting topic, one that we can gain from. It's also a good topic to discuss. Things that inspire people are very interesting to me. I think this is a good topic, so I raised it from the dead. If I don't see much activity in it, I'll let it be.
I find driving helps. Just cruise out the scenic route and get my mind in focus. Sometimes other people's drawings give me an idea I can run with.
I have a couple things that really inspire me. One is sand. The texture and weight of it in my hands, the scent, and the sight of it. There are very few things more gorgeous than one of those sand dunes in the sahara, with the light shining on them. Deserts, the sandy ones, with no plants.
Or moonlight on snow. A dark, crisp, icey night with the moon providing all the illumination. Albino animals are especially nice in this setting.
What fires up your imagination? What makes that blank paper/computer screen a little less intimidating?

Hmm...very inspiring.
Not that it reflects me, but i like to go off of depression. Twisted minds and past horror. Something that will make a story that will tingle up your spine.

hmm... that is a difficult question since my inspiration is driven by many factors depending in my mood. But mostly I'd have to say that it is the sky and water, the movents seen in them throught the dances of the wind and the sound of the high tree leaves rattling in their stationary lines of branches and symphony of nature that surrounds me. I guess it all sums up to nature.

I find that almost anything can inspire me, but most people probably think I just randomly come up with ideas from nowhere, as my thought processes are unusual. Sometime it is compleatly random though, (mainly with drawing and origami), and as I progress, I think, hey that kinda looks like.... and then develop it further (although it sometimes ends up as a mess )

Usually I develop story plots just thinking in class when im bored or dont care what the teacher says. or after listining to music or when I think "man it would be cool to be this" and I think about what I would do as whatever it is. and the book is pretty much an elaborate portrail of me being whatever. When it comes to me writing music i just write about what is on my mind right there and work on it over a few weeks.
